Kufinyelelwe kulesi sivumelwano emva kweminyaka ecela kweyishumi kwaqala izingxoxo phakathi komnyango nalabo abamele abaThwa. Lesi sizwe kade sasifuna ukuthi le mboni, eneminyaka ewu-100, ivume futhi ihloniphe iqhaza elasibamba ekuthuthukiseni ulwazi ngaleli tiye.

Ayikho enye impilo ayaziyo uSalomo ngaphandle kwalena yaseCederberg kodwa kwathi eqala ukuziphilisa ngekhono nangothando lwakhe lwe-rooibos waphoqeleka ukuthi aqashe umhlaba ebandleni iMonrovia, elingabanikazi bawo wonke umhlaba osempumalanga, lapho yena nezizukulwane eziningi zabaThwa bekhulele khona. 

“I-rooibos isegazini kithi, iyona nto esiyaziyo futhi siyayithanda le ndawo. Siyawuhlonipha umhlaba futhi siyazi ukuthi kumele siwunakekele ukuze kuzohlomula izizukulwane ezizayo,” kusho uSalomo. 

Nokho-ke usemkhulu umsebenzi okusamele wenziwe ukuqinisekisa ukuthi nabalimi abancane bakwazi ukuzakhela igama kule mboni yezolimo.
